Who we are
Greer Roof Pros is a locally operated residential roofing service company based in Greer, South Carolina. Roofing work over $500 is performed by contractors registered with the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Residential Builders Commission (S.C. Code Title 40, Chapter 59), bonded and insured, whose registration number appears on your written estimate and contract.
Inspections and estimates
Homeowner inspections and estimates are free, itemized and valid for 30 days. Written inspection reports for real-estate or insurance purposes are provided for the fee stated at booking. Prices on this website are typical ranges for planning only; your written estimate governs.
Insurance claims
We document storm damage and provide estimates in support of your claim. We do not waive, absorb or rebate deductibles, and we do not file claims on your behalf. Whether to file a claim is your decision; coverage decisions belong to your carrier.
Permits
Where a City of Greer, Greenville County or Spartanburg County permit is required, we obtain it and it is listed on the estimate. Work is scheduled around inspection requirements.
Contracts, deposits and payment
Work begins only after a signed written contract. A deposit may be required to order materials; the balance is due on completion unless the contract says otherwise. Change orders (for example, rotten decking discovered during tear-off) are priced in writing before extra work proceeds.
Weather
Roofing is weather-dependent. Scheduled dates may move for rain, lightning or high wind; a roof that is opened will always be dried-in before the crew leaves.
Warranty
Workmanship is warranted in writing on every job for the period stated in your contract. Manufacturer warranties on shingles and metal panels are separate and pass to you. The warranty covers defects in workmanship, not damage from subsequent storms, trees, foot traffic, or alterations by others.
Site conditions
The homeowner is responsible for removing or covering fragile items in the attic and near the house during tear-off, and for providing driveway access for material delivery and the dump trailer. We sweep the property with a magnet for nails before leaving.
