Greer roofs live under sixty-foot pines
In the early hours of September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene pushed 90 mph gusts across the Upstate. In Greer, Taylors and along the Highway 14 corridor the damage was trees: loblolly pines and water oaks down across roofs, driveways and power lines, some neighborhoods dark for more than a week. Two years later we still find Helene damage under tarps and quick patches — crushed decking, cracked rafters, valleys that were never rebuilt.

My roof was tarped after Helene and never properly fixed. Is it too late?
No. A lot of Upstate roofs got a tarp in October 2024 and a quick patch in the spring, and they're leaking again now. We'll inspect the whole roof, not just the tarped section, document what's storm damage versus what's wear, and give you a written price. If your claim is still open or you never filed one, we'll walk you through what your policy allows.
How much does a roof repair cost in Greer?
Most repairs come in between $350 and $1,500 — a few wind-lifted shingles or a split pipe boot at the low end, chimney flashing or a valley rebuild at the high end. South Carolina requires a registered residential specialty contractor for roofing work over $500, so every repair is done by a registered, insured roofer and you get a written price first.
Do pine needles really hurt a roof?
Yes, more than most people think. Needles pile up in valleys and behind chimneys, hold water against the shingles, and grow moss and algae under them. They also fill gutters faster than leaves do.
