Roofing for Easley and Powdersville — Pickens County's mill town and its fast-growing edge
Twenty-five thousand people in Easley and a boom in Powdersville between them and Greenville: mill-village cottages, 1970s–90s brick neighborhoods, Smithfields, and subdivisions so new the sod is still green.
Easley is the west end of our territory — about 30 miles from Greer on I-85 and Highway 123 — and worth the drive. It's a Pickens County mill town of about 24,000 with the mill-village cottages of McKissick and Glenwood, the 1950s–70s brick ranches of Rolling Hills and the Pelzer Highway side, the Smithfields country-club homes, and the newer subdivisions off Highway 123, Powdersville Road and Three and Twenty Road. Powdersville, between Easley and Greenville on Highway 153 and Highway 81, has been one of the fastest-growing communities in the Upstate, with thousands of homes built since 2010 on open ground that gets every storm coming up the Saluda valley.
Our Easley and Powdersville work is storm and hail inspections with test squares, wind and tree damage repairs, insurance claims, replacements on the 1990s–2000s roofs that have reached the end, chimney and porch-roof repairs on the mill cottages and older brick homes, and standing-seam metal on the farmhouses toward Liberty and Pickens. Easley issues permits inside the city; Pickens County and Anderson County (for parts of Powdersville) outside. We pull the right one. Free inspections, written prices, and a crew that already works the west side.

Questions from Easley & Powdersville homeowners
Is Easley too far for a Greer roofer?
It's the far side of our territory, about thirty miles, so we group Easley and Powdersville jobs and give you a firm date. Storm tarps are the exception — those go the same day, wherever the storm hit.
Who issues the permit in Powdersville?
Powdersville isn't a city, so it's Anderson County for most addresses and Pickens County for some — we check the parcel and pull the right one. Inside Easley's limits it's the City of Easley.
The mill cottage has a flat porch roof that leaks every winter — fixable?
Yes. The porch is too flat for shingles; we replace that section with modified bitumen or standing seam and flash it into the main roof. It's the most common repair on the mill houses.
Are Powdersville's 2015 roofs really failing already?
Not failing — but hail and straight-line wind have hit that open ground several times since they went on, and a bruised 10-year-old shingle loses its granules early. A free inspection tells you whether there's a claim.
Do you work in Smithfields?
Yes — steep, complex roofs with designer shingles and the club's expectations on appearance. We've done them.
