How referrals and fees work here

A letter to the homeowner about who runs this site, who performs the roofing, and who pays whom.

This letter was last revised in September 2026. Write to hello@greerroofpros.com with anything it doesn't cover.

To the homeowner reading this

Dear homeowner,

You should know what greerroofpros.com is before you call it. It markets roofing services to homeowners in Greer and across the Upstate, and it is operated locally. When you dial the number at the top of the page or submit the form on the estimate page, the request lands with us. An automated assistant picks up at every hour, records what you tell it, and a person then follows up with you.

The roofing itself is done by insured contractors who operate independently around Greer. The operator of this site does not swing the hammer. Which contractor gets your project depends on three things: the kind of work, where the house sits, and who has an open slot.

Here is the part people ask about. When a referral from this site turns into a job, the contractor may pay us for it, as a referral fee or an advertising fee. That is a matter between the contractor and us. It is not added to your estimate and it does not alter the figure you are quoted.

We also measure. Calls and form submissions are tracked, and the site runs privacy-respecting analytics, so we can see which pages and which sources bring in inquiries. A call may be recorded, and a notice tells you so when it connects. None of this touches your price; it is bookkeeping. Our privacy policy lists the data collected and who receives it.

Four things follow from all of this. First, no stranger shows up: ask which contractor is assigned and we name them before any date goes on the calendar. Second, the estimate you sign with the contractor is the amount you pay, regardless of any arrangement in the background. Third, you can shop around. Asking another roofer for an opinion is sensible, and we won't argue against it. Fourth, the contractors are independent businesses: each holds whatever state or city registration the job requires, carries its own insurance and sets warranty terms of its own. Before signing, ask to see their insurance certificate and read the agreement through.

One more note. This site may surface in paid ads as well as in ordinary search results. Any outside service we use to place or measure those ads gets only the data required for that task.

Want the name of the contractor who'd take your job, to know whether a referral applies, or a direct line to that contractor? Ask. Better to answer now than leave you guessing later. Reach us by phone at (864) 263-1238 or by email at hello@greerroofpros.com.
