Which standard does the site target?
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, on every page.
How is that checked?
Four ways, repeated on every rebuild of the site: keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader passes, phone testing, and an automated checker.
What has been built in?
- Semantic HTML with one heading outline per page, landmark regions (header, navigation, main, footer) and a skip-to-content link.
- Menus and forms that operate from the keyboard alone, with a focus state you can see.
- Contrast between text and background at or above the AA ratio.
- Text that scales to 200% with nothing cut off.
- No flashing, and no motion that can't be paused. Animations are switched off when your device reports a reduced-motion preference.
- A written description on every image and a label on every form field.
- No countdown on anything you type into.
Do I need the website to get help?
No. Asking a question, booking an estimate, raising a concern: each can be done over the phone at (864) 263-1238, at any hour on any day. The site is a convenience, not a gate.
Where does the site still fall short?
Certain photographs show roof conditions that a short description can't fully convey. Each description covers what the page needs it to. If that isn't enough, phone us and a person will describe what the picture shows.
How do I report a problem?
Email hello@greerroofpros.com or ring (864) 263-1238. Name the page and describe what went wrong. A reply comes inside two business days, and we fix whatever is within our reach.
